From an AP dispatch in today's San Francisco Chronicle:
Two large dogs have been quarantined after severely mauling an elderly woman and two men in a Los Angeles area park crowded with children.
Animal Control Capt. Daniel Pantojo says a male boxer and bulldog mix and a pit bull terrier and Akita mix attacked a 71-year-old woman, a 65-year-old man and the woman's 35-year-old son-in-law on Tuesday afternoon at the East Wilmington Greenbelt. They later underwent surgery for severe bite wounds.
. . . Pantoja says the owner, whose name was not released, was cited for a misdemeanor for allowing dangerous dogs to roam free.
Read it all. I'm sure the victims were mollified when they heard the dog owner got a ticket.
