Central Park and More Scofflaw Dog Owners

We haven't been in Central Park in a while, and so it was a bit of a surprise how few unleashed dogs we saw. But of course, they were spread out all over the place: as we've observed before, off-leash has a lot less to do with socialization of dogs than with dog owners being allowed to do whatever they want wherever they want. So it was no surprise to run across plenty of illegally unleashed dogs, including this one in the ramble at 7:35:

This one around the Falconer statue a few minutes after 9,

and these two on the Mall at 9:45:

Also, around 8:30 we saw two dog owners tossing branches into the water near Bow Bridge for their dogs to retrieve, near a prominent sign barring dogs from swimming.
