According to this report in the New York Post, an elderly woman was attacked by a rottweiler--leashed--in Prospect Park yesterday. I guess this proves that the dog should have been off-leash. hat-tip to Christina.

Plum Beach today around noon, two unleashed dogs. As we've pointed out repeatedly, Plum Beach is part of Gateway, and no dogs, leashed or unleashed, are permitted on the beach at this time of year. Not that it would deter these scofflaws, but why are there not at least signs?

I can't believe that a dog owner let that happen while their pet was on the other end of a leash. Nobody can be that oblivious.
There has to be more to the story.
