A four-year-old is dead in Brooklyn, a victim of the family dog. News reports are here and http://www.nydailynews.com/ny_local/2011/05/30/2011-05-30_neighbors_tot_often_alone_with_killer_dog.html. The breed of the dog, a Cane Corso, is the same breed as the feral dog wandering around Prospect Park.
Of course, that doesn't mean the Prospect Park dog is dangerous.
